MUST SEE: Lego Vinyl

Vinyl records and retro toys may just be two of our favourite things in existence. But what happens when you mix them together? I mean... I'm a fan of Marilyn Manson but I don't want him to do a collaboration with K-POP stars BTS anytime soon... (I take that back, that'd be freaking genius!)

But fear not! The result unexpectedly is nothing short of amazing. Creative minds around the world have been challenging themselves to re-create a Lego themed scene using only the tiny plastic coated toys and it looks insane!

Cool, right? We agree. The miniature Vinyl records store is ingenious. Featuring many iconic pieces that you'd expect if you just wandered into a retro store, these artworks highlight the posters, racks, turntables... even the crates too! The one pictured above, in addition to all of that, also showcases an arcade machine and checkered tiled flooring. We must stress that none of these came from pre-packaged, readily available Lego kits, we just wish we were that imaginative too.

The next picture is taken from The Brothers Brick - LEGO for adults blog that's been up and running for eight years and created by Flickr user Eldeeem. This completely DIY project houses not only all the features mentioned above; but includes a P.A, boombox and an RIAA-style so-called 'gold pack'. But even with all of that, the thing people are going crazy over is the perfected blue milk crate Vinyl holder in the foreground, too cute!

Now we've saved the best and most-impressive till last for sure. You've got your record store, your Vinyl, your milk crate container, what else do you need? A working turntable perhaps? Look no further because Korean Lego enthusiast Hayarobi already made it! Dubbed 'The Planet' it's comprised of purely lego (minus the phono cartridge of course).

This 2400 piece bit of equipment looks better than some of the turntables currently on the market. Looks too good to be true? Check out the video footage below:

Could you make something better? Are you a budding lego-enthusiast?
