Way back on the 21st of April 2016 we were all, sadly, greeted with the news that music icon and legend Prince had passed from a fatal accidental opioid overdose. A year later and his family, friends and fans are all still deep in mourning. We decided that today we would like to share with you some of his most iconic photographs in amongst photo’s that have just been released to mark the anniversary of his passing.
Prince’s art direction Steve Parke will be soon releasing his upcoming book ‘Picturing Prince: An Intimate Portrait’ in which these pictures, as well as many others, will be featured. Today however, we are granted a preview. The book will be charting four decades of Prince’s career.
