Prince's estate have decided to reissue 35 of his classic studio albums.
Together with Sony Music, Prince's estate are working to reissue 35 of his albums, commencing in the year 2021, as Variety magazine reported. Whilst in his prime, Prince was known to be guarded with all of his releases and recordings. However, since his passing, his estate have decided to do something different in his memory.
The albums that wont be featured are Purple Rain, Batman, Parade and Graffiti Bridge. Sony Music have said that this campaign will rerelease material recorded post-1995, b-sides, singles, remixes, non-album tracks as well as music videos and live recordings. They do not however, discuss his "vault" which is home to Prince's audio and film records.
Long live Prince!
