Today marks what would have been Michael Jackson’s 60th Birthday. As the man more commonly known as the ‘king of pop’ we can only imagine how his music influence would have shaped the charts today if he was still here. However his influence is still large and his core values and principles will be echoed through music for the ages as Michael Jackson was, a true icon.
Over the years he has given us an array of talented, witty and humour filled moments. Whilst we honour his music regularly, we want to look back today and think moreso about the person he was and his gentle soul.
Today should not be seen as a moment of sadness, regrets or what ifs. We should simply celebrate the life of such an extraordinary human being and share the moments with each other that made a difference to our lives. Michael Jackson was the type of person who easily empathised with many and pulled on the heart strings of more. There is a lot that we can still learn from this amazing musician that is not just centred around music.
